Claire Pottinger
Claire joined Thomas Horton LLP in the summer of 2011 and heads our Wills, Trusts and Probate team, a department with an excellent reputation in the Worcestershire and West Midlands region for their personal approach and technical ability. Clients frequently comment that they appreciate the natural, warm and “listening” approach the team adopt towards each and every client. In doing so they deliver a highly professional but also sensitive service. Whether it is bespoke Will drafting, Codicils, Inheritance Tax planning, the creation and administration of Trusts, Administration of Estates, Will disputes, the preparation and processing of Lasting Powers of Attorney, or Public Guardianship matters then Claire and her team would be delighted to help.
Claire was educated at Bromsgrove School and read for an Honours degree in Philosophy at The University of Bristol and was admitted as a Solicitor in September 1999. She received full membership of STEP (the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners) in 2003 and is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly and the Law Society Private Client Section.
