Fiona Lawson-Hughes
Fiona qualified as a solicitor in 1991. As recognition of her expertise she was appointed as a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel since 1998 and represents parents, extended family members and children in relation to Care Proceedings brought by the Local Authority. She specialises in all areas of the law relating to children including arrangements for children with disabilities, and disputes between parents about arrangements for their children, representing either parent, or their children through a Guardian, where the Court believes their interests should be separately represented. Fiona has an impressive reputation in the Worcestershire and West Midlands region for specialising in complex cases relating to children at all levels of Court from Family Proceedings Court to the High Court and the Court of Protection.
